These Terms and Conditions define the rules for using our online store and purchasing our products. By placing an order, you accept these terms in full.

We advise all users that internet activity carries inherent risks, including potential exposure to malware and unauthorized data access. Customers should employ appropriate security measures such as antivirus software and firewalls.

II. Definitions

Business Days: Monday through Friday, excluding Polish public holidays
Customer: Any natural person, business owner, or legal entity making purchases through our store
Consumer: A customer with consumer status under Polish civil law (purchasing for personal use, not business purposes)
Goods/Products: Wallpapers, wall stickers, and borders displayed in our online store with descriptions and prices
Sales Agreement: Purchase contract concluded between Dekornik and the Customer
Standard Products: Products in our regular catalog available in fixed sizes (280cm or 140cm height)
Made-to-Measure Products: Custom-sized wallpapers prepared according to individual customer wall dimensions
Sample: 25×35cm product sample available for testing material quality and colors
Order: Customer’s declaration to purchase specified products

III. Technical Requirements

To use our online store, you need:

An internet-connected computer, tablet, or smartphone
Access to email
A modern web browser (Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge, or equivalent)
Cookies and JavaScript enabled in your browser

IV. Customer Obligations

When using our store, customers must:

Provide accurate contact and delivery information
Not use the store in any way that could damage its functionality
Not use our content (images, descriptions, designs) for commercial purposes without written permission
Comply with Polish law and generally accepted internet practices
Not engage in activities that could harm Dekornik’s reputation or business

V. Products & Orders

Product Information:
All product information displayed on our website (descriptions, images, dimensions) is for informational purposes only and does not constitute a binding offer. The actual colors may vary slightly from those displayed on screen due to monitor settings.

How Orders Work:

You add products to your cart and proceed to checkout
You provide delivery and payment information
You submit your order (this is your offer to purchase)
We send you an order confirmation email (this is our acceptance)
The sales agreement is concluded when you receive our confirmation email

Production & Shipping:
We don’t keep inventory. All products are made fresh for you in our Warsaw workshop after receiving your order. This ensures the highest quality and allows us to accommodate made-to-measure requests.

Order Changes & Cancellations:
Since we make everything custom for you, please contact us immediately at [email protected] if you need to change or cancel your order. The sooner you let us know, the better chance we have to accommodate your request.

Production & Delivery Times:
Our standard production time is up to 5 business days (though we often complete orders faster). Once your order is ready, delivery times are:

Poland: 1-2 business days (InPost Kurier)
European Union: 3-5 business days (UPS from Warsaw)
United Kingdom: Approximately 5 business days
USA, Canada & Rest of World: Approximately 5 business days (UPS Express Saver)

VI. Prices & Payment

Prices:
All prices are displayed in EUR or PLN and include applicable VAT. The total cost (including shipping) is shown clearly during checkout before you confirm your order.

Shipping Costs:

Poland: 14.99 PLN (FREE for orders over 350 PLN)
European Union: 15 EUR (FREE for orders over 150 EUR)
United Kingdom: 20 EUR
Non-EU Europe: 42 EUR
Rest of World: 50 EUR (20 EUR for samples only)

All international prices include taxes, duties, and customs fees. The price you see is the final price you pay—no surprises at delivery.

Payment Methods:

We accept the following payment methods depending on your currency:

For EUR payments (European Union, UK, and international customers):

PayPal – Fast and secure payment with buyer protection
Credit/Debit Card – Visa, Mastercard, American Express
Klarna – Buy now, pay later options available
Direct Bank Transfer – Transfer funds directly to our bank account

For PLN payments (Poland only):

Przelewy24 – Fast online bank transfers and BLIK payments
PayPo – Buy now, pay later (split payment available)

Payment must be completed before we begin production. For bank transfers, your order will be processed once the payment is confirmed in our account (usually 1-3 business days).

Invoices:
All orders include a VAT invoice. You can enter your company details and VAT number during checkout. Your invoice will be available for download in your customer account panel (My Account → Orders) and will also be sent to your email address.

VII. Samples

We offer 25×35cm samples of all our wallpaper patterns for 2.50 EUR each (plus shipping).

Sample Voucher Program:
When you order samples, you’ll receive a gift voucher in your package worth the full amount you paid (including shipping costs). Use this voucher when ordering your full-size wallpaper—so samples are essentially free!

Samples are made from the exact same material as our full-size wallpapers, so you can check the pattern, colors, and material quality before ordering.

VIII. Right of Withdrawal (14-Day Return Policy)

For Consumers Only:
If you’re a consumer (purchasing for personal use, not business), you have the right to withdraw from your purchase within 14 days of receiving your order, without giving any reason.

How to Return:

Email us at [email protected] within 14 days of receiving your package to inform us you’d like to return your order
Pack the products securely in their original condition

You have 14 days from the date you informed us to send the package back

Refunds:
We’ll refund the full product price plus the original shipping cost (if you paid for shipping) within 14 days of receiving your returned package. Refunds will be processed using the same payment method you used for your order, unless you request otherwise.

Return Shipping:
You’re responsible for the cost of return shipping. We recommend using a trackable shipping service.

Product Condition:
Products must be returned in their original condition. You’re responsible for any reduction in value resulting from handling beyond what’s necessary to establish the nature, characteristics, and functioning of the products.

Important Exceptions – Products That Cannot Be Returned:

Made-to-Measure Products: Custom-sized wallpapers prepared according to your specific wall dimensions cannot be returned or exchanged, as they’re made specifically for your unique requirements
Used Products: Products that have been installed, cut, or used cannot be returned

This is why we strongly recommend ordering samples first to check the material and colors before ordering made-to-measure products.

IX. Product Quality & Complaints

Our Quality Guarantee:
We’re committed to delivering defect-free products. All our wallpapers and decorations are made from high-quality materials using European suppliers at every stage of production.

Material Specifications:

Wallpaper: Recycled paper (190g/m²) with non-woven backing, produced in France
Wall Stickers: Special polyester woven material created for wall decoration
Safety: All products are non-toxic and safe for children’s rooms

If You Receive a Faulty or Incorrect Order:

Description of the defect or error
Your preferred resolution (replacement, refund, etc.)

We’ll respond to your complaint within 14 business days and work quickly to resolve the issue—whether that means sending replacement items or processing a refund.

X. Intellectual Property

All designs, patterns, images, product descriptions, and other content on our website are protected by copyright and belong to Dekornik or our partner designers.

You may not:

Copy, reproduce, or publish our designs or website content
Use our images or patterns for commercial purposes
Sell, sublicense, or redistribute our intellectual property

XII. Limitation of Liability

We make every effort to ensure our website functions correctly and provides accurate information. However:

We’re not liable for temporary unavailability of the website due to technical issues or maintenance
Product colors may vary slightly from those displayed on screen due to monitor settings
We’re not liable for delays caused by incorrect delivery addresses provided by customers
Our liability is limited to direct damages and does not exceed the value of the order

XIII. Dispute Resolution

For Consumers:
If you’re a consumer and have a dispute that we can’t resolve directly, you have the right to:

Use out-of-court complaint and redress mechanisms
Submit complaints to the Provincial Inspector of Trade Inspection
Seek assistance from municipal or district consumer advocates

Governing Law:
These Terms and Conditions are governed by Polish law. For consumers, mandatory consumer protection laws of your country of residence may also apply.

We reserve the right to update these Terms and Conditions at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated “Last updated” date. Continued use of our store after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

For orders already placed, the Terms and Conditions in effect at the time of order placement will apply.
